The State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand host the Sub-regional Audit Planning Meeting in Collaboration with the Board of Audit of Japan

 

On Monday, March 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., The State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand, as the host organization, will hold the opening ceremony of the Sub-regional Audit Planning Meeting in collaboration with the Board of Audit of Japan, which serves as the implementing agency of the ASOSAI Capacity Development Program (ASOSAI CDA). The ceremony will be presided over by Mr. Monthien Charoenphon, Auditor General of SAI Thailand, who delivered the opening remarks. Also in attendance: Ms. Balloon Sirisingsangchai, Deputy Auditor General of SAI Thailand, and Mr. Suthi Suntranurak, State Audit Advisor, who serves as an expert under the project. The event will take place at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok.

 

The Sub-regional Audit Planning Meeting is one of the activities under the ASOSAI Capacity Development Program for the fiscal years 2024–2025, focusing on the theme Dealing with Fraud and Corruption in Auditing”. Participants are required to apply the knowledge gained from the online training sessions to real-world audit planning. The meeting will be held from March 3 to March 7, 2025, with the participation of 26 representatives from 11 countries, including members of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) and the **Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI).
