Hence, the new Auditor General, Mr. Monthien Charoenpol, envisions establishing the Press Secretary and Spokesman team at both headquarters and regional audit offices. This new approach of SAO Thailand aligns with INTOSAI P-12 principles and draws from the best practices of several SAIs like SAO Hungary and TCU Brazil.

Establishing Press Secretary of SAO Thailand
Led by Deputy Auditor General Mr. Sutthipong Boonniti, the Press Secretary and spokesperson team, both at headquarters and regional offices, manage communication and public relations. Supported by International Public Relation and Communication Office of SAO Thailand, the Press Secretary (PS) has responsibilities include:
- Coordinating monthly press briefings.
- Ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of audit findings.
- Addressing media inquiries and clarifying audit reports.
