Prof. Chaisit Trachoetham, Chairman of the State Audit Commission, Mr. Prajuck Boonyoung, Deputy Auditor General and delegates from the Office of the Auditor General of Thailand (OAG) visited Supreme Audit Court of Islamic Republic of Iran (SAC) invited by      Prof. Adel Azar, President of Supreme Audit Court of Islamic Republic of Iran. The objective of this visit was to have a bilateral meeting on IT audit, Environmental audit, sharing knowledge and experience about punishment for the breach of budgetary and financial discipline, improvement of audit reports including signing MoU between SAC of Iran and OAG Thailand to enrich mutual cooperation in order to enhance the effectiveness of pubic audit and to contribute to value for money and good governance of public spending.

 

The visiting delegation met Prof. Adel Azar, President of Supreme Audit Court of I. R. Iran, Vice Presidents, Officials, Assistant Prosecutors and other Principal Auditors and Directors General of Audit and Annual Report Departments.

 

On 16 July 2017,  Prof. Chaisit Trachoetham, Chairman of the State Audit Commission delivered a speech on 8th International Conference Performance Based Budgeting and shared knowledge and experience about the evolution of the budgeting system in Thailand, and how SAI can contribute to this area with Prof. Adel Azar  as Conference Chairman.
