The ASOSAI WGCMA Task Force on Crisis Management Audit launched the co-research project "Enhancing Emergency Preparedness and Response in Agriculture" during a webinar hosted by the State Audit Office of the Kingdom of Thailand. Participants from SAI Nepal, Russia, Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Thailand, and Korea joined to discuss strategies for strengthening agricultural resilience and emergency preparedness in Asia.

The webinar featured speeches by representatives from SAI Korea and Ms. Klednatee Manosan, Deputy Auditor General of Thailand. Keynote presentations included Dr. Theepakorn Jirathitikulchai’s discussion on food security in Asia, audits on food security by SAI Thailand, and a research concept presented by Dr. Sutthi Suntharanurak. The meeting concluded with SAI Thailand taking the lead on co-research project.
